Hello. I’m Dan. I live in a scruffy old house in lovely leafy Sussex with my long-suffering wife, our unruly daughters and an array of animals.

I spend a lot of my time being a tech lawyer, but I’m not planning on writing about my work here. This blog is somewhere to put whatever non-work-related stuff I’m interested in and want to share; my daft little dog, gaming, retro computing, politics, music, or just stuff I find that’s fun or odd or cool.

I’m on Twitter and Mastodon. You can also sometimes find me lurking around the various UK retrogaming Discord channels, if you’re so inclined.

The theme on this blog is by Anders Norén and the header image is by Lorenzo Herrera. YouTube videos and other linked stuff belong to their respective rights holders. Everything else on this blog is mine, unless it says otherwise.

Anything I say here is said in a personal capacity. In particular, I’m not in any way speaking for my firm. If I happen to write about the law, I’m doing so purely for my own amusement.

I say “fuck” a lot. Spare me the homilies. I have a wide vocabulary in multiple languages, and I can assure you that “fuck” is one of the best words there is.
